Saul's creative journey began after graduating from Philadelphia College of Art, where he embarked on a move to Los Angeles. There, he was fortunate to join Pacific Eye and Ear (PE&E), a prestigious graphic design and advertising agency renowned for creating iconic album packaging and marketing materials for legendary artists including Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Cheech and Chong, Luther Vandross, and George Carlin.

 

This paved the way for his next professional venture. In partnership with one of PE&E’s owners, he launched David Hale Associates, where they developed marketing campaigns for industry leaders like Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, Panavision, and NGK Spark Plugs.

 

Recognizing the graphic shift toward computer-generated graphics, he embraced the opportunity to evolve professionally. Saul re-invented himself as a full-time freelance digital graphic designer, working from his home studio. His portfolio expanded to include entertainment work for 20th Century Fox and MGM; non-profit initiatives for The Elton John AIDS Foundation, The American Red Cross, and The Climate Leadership Conference; and political campaigns through The Strategy Group, including Obama/Biden, Jerry Brown, and John A. Pérez. He also developed creative strategies for organizations such as Solec Solar, USC Annenberg School of Communications, Green Dot Public Schools, and The White House, among many others.
